A FemDom pirate?

Post by Marianne LaCroix

I haven't posted here in a while. I apologize for missing last month. I've just been wrapped up in life and writing. I am working on a pirate novel for Ellora's Cave. It started out as a novella but has grown in concept. I missed the deadline for the Ahoy series, but it would be too long for that series anyway. Below is an unedited snippet of my book I call High Seas Hellion. Enjoy!

“I do believe you may be tolerable now.” Captain Robillard stood from her desk and she moved closer to stand close to the tub. She reached for a cloth left by one of the crew on a nearby stool and held it out to him. “Dry off.”

Her gaze challenged him to refuse, but Morgan wouldn’t back down. He gripped the sides of the tub, the metal manacles and chain clanking, and stood while water sluiced down over his body. He was hard as ever, much to her amusement. He reached for the towel, but she took a step backward and raised an eyebrow. Fully aware of her femininity, he stepped out of the tub, water rippled over his skin and onto the wood plank floor. He held out a hand and she paused a moment before handing him the cloth.

She turned her back and strode across the room. He used the few moments to dry his skin and then wrap the towel about his hips. His hard cock hardly could be covered, tenting the fabric, but at least it a resemblance of a small degree of modesty.

“Don’t bother.” Her voice cut the stillness of the room. She stood by her desk and once again reached into one of the many drawers, pulling out a carefully wrapped length of rope. “You better get used to being naked in my presence.”

“I think I’d rather be chained below with the other prisoners.”

She shook her head. “Not an option.”

“Then punish me.” Morgan silently cursed. The idea of her striking him, using pain in order to control, excited him. His cock grew harder.

“I don’t believe I gave you a choice.” She turned to him and unraveled the rope between her hands.

“I could over power you. You made no mystery of where you keep a flintlock. I could easily gain the upper hand and kill you.”

Colette snickered. “Kill me and you kill yourself.” She strode closer and the feminine scent of lilacs surrounded her, permeating his senses. She leaned to his ear and her warm breath caressed his earlobe. “If I scream or even make any noise of distress…” She flicked her tongue along his ear for a brief moment sending chills down his back. “…my crew will charge in here and surely kill you before you blink.”

He closed his eyes and forced himself to focus. Don’t think about her soft body. Don’t think about her raven hair falling about her shoulders and onto a pillow cradling her head. And most of all don’t think about sinking into her and rutting her tight wet center until he found his much needed release.

The towel fell to the floor and she reached down to his cock and gasped the length. He moaned, enjoying the warmth and the firm hold of her hand about his cock.

“I told you that I would break you.”

Defiant he opened his eyes and stared into her dark ones. “I am not a stallion to be broken of spirit to serve you.”

She squeezed his cock and he stifled a moan. “You have part of it right,” she said. “You are my steed, and rest assured, you will serve me as such.”

A kiss is NOT just a kiss.

As I work on a new book, I am reminded how the simple kiss can be extremely erotic. Kissing someone with whom you share chemistry can truly be an amazing experience.

Remember the moments leading up to a first kiss? The bit of anxiety and nervousness pumping through your veins as you lean closer. That anticipation making you breath a bit faster. Then it happens... That first touch of lips capturing your breath and stilling your heart for a split second only to start racing faster as you lean closer together. That first stroke of tongues along one another making you hold onto each other tighter...

Ahhh...love it. Of course the kiss is only special when you truly feel a connection (and a heap of sexual tension). I've kissed a few men in my time, but only a select few have ever made me feel so...amazing. A kiss is not just a kiss. With the right person, it is oh so much more.

Teacher of schoolgirl fantasies...

Hello everyone. This is my first post on this blog, so I guess I better introduce myself.

I write as Marianne LaCroix. "Marianne" is a pen name, but I have been called that as long as I can remember. Most of my writer pals call me Mari (Mar-E or Mary). Even my BFF calls me Mari. LOL

I write erotic romance as Marianne, and I have books out with Ellora's Cave, Pocket Books, Resplendence Publishing, Total-e-Bound, and soon, Imajinn Books. I've had two RT "Top Picks" which went on to be RT Reviewer Choice nominees. I've had a few CAPA nominations, and one CAPA win. Several of my books have been on "Recommended Read" lists on review sites like Fallen Angels Reviews, eCataromance and Road to Romance. I've also had a few PEARL nominations, and a PEARL Honorable Mention. One of the coolest recognitions I'd ever had was being featured in the RWA's magazine, the RWR, in Febriary 2010 for their Writers on Writing feature.

I've written many subgenres of erotic romance from vampire (Descendants of Darkness, Eternal Embrace), shapeshifter, (Beast in My Bed, Lady Sheba), historical (Crossed Swords), time travel (Sea Hawk's Mistress), contemporary (Rosy Cheeks, Let's Get Naked) and paranormal fantasy (Warrior Lover, Scorpion King). I don't really have a favorite as it changes all the time to whatever inspires me at the moment.

My upcoming releases are both from Ellora's Cave, Rosy Cheeks and Let's Get Naked. Let's Get Naked is a freebie in the Naughty Nooners series. My story is a quick tale of an older woman lusting for a younger man. I admit, this particular fantasy was fueled by a hot younger man I know. Heh heh.  Rosy Cheeks is a very scorching story featuring the schoolgirl fantasy paired with lots of spanking. Picture a "Gil Grissom" type hero teaching a much needed lesson to his naughty pupil who asks to give lip service for extra credit in algebra. Think he can be bribed? Nope, I don't think so either. I know all too well that stern algebra teachers can not be bribed. Heh heh. Rosy Cheeks is part of the Merry Kinkmas series coming this holiday season.

Currently I am working on a historical vampire novella for Imajinn Books. The novella, The Devil's Web, is a spin on the old poem The Spider and The Fly. I admit, a man gave me the idea when he acted like a predator to me in a little messaging. I was, of course, the innocent prey. (After all, I am innocent, right? No? Yeah, you're probably right.) When he said to me "said the spider to the fly", the idea hit me. What if the prey wanted to be caught? (No, he never did catch me by the way, but I still had fun.)
